Browns Need a New QB?

I had the brats for the grill and cold ones in the fridge as I set down last night to watch the first meaningful game of the year. Someone should slap me here because I should have remembered that there are no meaningful preseason games unless of course a stud being injured is considered meaningful. I fell for the hype! Johnny Football in a duel for the starting gig and it was unfolding live on Monday Night Football. Man was I juiced ( could have been the beverages)! One on one competition. Who wanted it more? Who'd be the knight in shining amour? Simple answer? No one. They both played like they were scared to death to win the starting job. Folks if you didn't see it they sucked! Couldn't hit the broadside of the barn? Manzel couldn't outrun any of the defenders. I think mean Joe Green could have beat him in a foot race. Pitiful! Horrible! A stinker with a capital "S." Could it be that neither of these guys have what it takes? Has Cleveland still not managed to find a legitimate QB? How many QB's have they tried over the last three years? Do you know? I think it's 25 or 30. It was a terrible night at the drilling rig watching these kids clown round, shooting the bone at the other team because "they hurt his feelings." Oh, the brats and the cold beer were good.

To me this is a done deal. They will start with Hoyer, the first few weeks schedule is brutal. After the bye week in week 4, if they are 0-3 or if they go 0-4, look for the move to Manziel, as they will have nothing to lose at that point.

Yea Johnny's throws were off all night, at this point i would start Hoyer. And why are they having Gordon play so many snaps, he likely will not play all season and at best scenario play some of the second half of the season, most of jphnny's throws were meant for gordon. they need to build chemistry with guys that will actually play. I did however like the way clevelands def played.
