From rotoworld,

Browns acquired CB Sheldon Brown and LB Chris Gocong from the Eagles in exchange for LB Alex Hall, a fourth-round pick, and a fifth-round pick.

The 31-year-old Brown, still playing at a high level, went on the trading block with the Eagles unwilling to sign him to a long-term deal. He'll receive a new contract and move into the Browns starting lineup opposite Eric Wright, eliminating the need for a corner at No. 7 overall. Gocong, a better fit in the 3-4 defense, could start opposite Matt Roth on the outside. The Browns did well to plug two defensive holes for a pair of mid-round picks. Apr. 2 - 11:53 am et

This looks like a move to acquire more picks to package in another deal.
Another view is that Andy does not like any player over 30!
So it looks like McNabb will also be gone, soon, and the kicker will be the oldest player on the team.

nice move for both teams. Cleveland gets the corner they desperately needed. While I agree they don't need to take Hayden now...they still need some depth at Cb. Now they can take bryant or Qb if they want.

as for Eagles, they re-signed Hobbs, have Samuel, rumor has it they are dealing with Oakland to get Ashoumaga.....plus extra picks to get OL and DL which are dire need.

Nice for both teams.
