Broncos trade for Qb and another one

I sort of agree with Tek. Denver didn't have many options. I agree Fitz would have been better but that kind of money is tough to swallow. Kaep would also be expensive and require a trade. Sanchez big issue is the big mistake. Interception or fumble at the wrong time. He put up some food games fantasy wise in Phillys offense last couple years. Granted a bit of a gimmick offense in Philly but I think he can be as good as last years Manning or Osweiler fantasy wise for the receivers.

Also time will tell on Osweiler but I think that Elway is not that upset he walked. If the Broncos thought he was that good I think they would have at least attempted to raise the offer.

I watched the Chargers Broncos in the last game of the regular season and I believec they lose that game if they kept Osweiler in. Manning came in and started handing the ball off. The Chargers couldn't stop the run but for some reason Osweiler didn't exploit that. Manning swallowed his pride and managed that game.

Had they lost they would have played the afc championship in Foxboro and Manning or Osweiler I think they lose that game.

Of course this is all speculation. But I think they don't win the Super Bowl with Osweiler. We'll never know but since the goal is to win the Super Bowl and they did it's hard to criticize the decision, even if the price is to lose Osweiler. Of course if Osweiler goes to Houston and they become a powerhouse then that will change things but I don't see Osweiler being that good in Houston.

I also need to add that Demarius Thomas is one of the most frustrating receiver to own. He has great athletic ability but hands of stone. I don't recall a single Broncos game I watched this year where he didn't drop a pass. And in most he dropped multiple passes.

Yup, its not Kaepernick though..

They sent a conditional 2017 draft pick to Philly, for Mark Sanchez.....

Yeah, all you denver fans must be really breathing easier now.....

I don't know how Philly is getting teams to take this money off their hands....its amazing
Well now its two Qbs - they have a deal in place with San Fran for Kaepernick. I Like it, Kaep and Sanchize!

If that is he will re-work his contract to do it, if that happens San Fran to get mid round pick per reports

yeah, evidently they want Kaep to eat $4.9 million, he said no, so he is in camp today with San Fran. Curious to see who blinks first:
Denver - as they need a Qb, eat the $4.9? - cut Clady at OT?
Kaep - I don't think so, if he is cut, he gets paid, if he gets hurt, he gets paid.
San Fran - if they cut him, they owe him whatever is left after he gets his new contract anyway...so they might as well eat it and send him off for the pick.

The work is that CK is essentially killing the trade because he's inwilling to eat the 4 mil. Can't say I really blame him.

That being said, I think it's fair to question how much he really wants to play football at this point. It's very obvious that SF doesn't want him around. The way they structured his deal in the first place didn't exactly show a ton of respect for his game.

Then you have Denver who seems relatively interested in making him their QB, and CK is holding up the deal. There's a part of me that wonders if deep down he hopes for SF to keep him around and eventually cut him. Then he can collect his check and go all JaMarcus Russell with it

To his defense, this was his first big contract, he was on cheap rookie salary before, so he doesn't have that much to be able to walk away. I don't know about you, but $4,9 million is some serious cash
