Well, it was inevitable in some cases....
We have four coaching vacancies right now.

Oakland - HC is interim, but wants to be permanent
San Fran - where they basically walk away from each other, and Harbaugh goes back to the College game.
Atlanta - Not surprised here, he has been successful, but could not get them over the hump.
Jets - Ryan was gone at beginning of season if you believe some of the stories going on - GM gone as well.

This may not be all either. Trestman in Chicago is on thin ice. Can the Giants be far from a move as well? even saw one report that states Fox in Denver may be at risk if they don't go far in the playoffs.

Great Question on NFL talk on ESPN, that of which coaching job would you want?

one stated San Fran, due to talent there. The surprise was one picked Oakland. Why? Great young Qb, great stud on Def with rookie Lb, and the bar is lower, as they haven't been successful lately. Not to mention cap space available.

Thoughts?

Yeah! Who the heck is their great young QB in Oakland? Carr could have been worse but it's a heck of a stretch to project greatness for him yet IMO. I wouldn't want any of them. If the 9er brass wasn't happy winning before I could never make them happy plus there isn't enough $$ in football to get me to live on the left coast meaning Oakland is out. NY is plain crazy and the traffic in Atlanta is a nightmare. I'll keep you straight here on the forum PhiCin and wait for a warm weather job in a small market. New Orleans anyone?

I wondered about New Orleans, but I think Peyton is secure for another year. They had to cut some major pieces due to cap issues, so maybe they can rebuild now.

Carr is not a game winner, but I think he can be a Dalton, or better than Flacco to help a team win, if the pieces are there. Need to fix the O-line, continue to build the def, and get the kid some help.

Jets are a mess, agree there, would not touch it with a ten foot pole. San Fran as well, cause you HAVE to win due to Harbaugh, or you have a short leash. Plus you are stuck with Kaep at Qb.

Atlanta is really interesting, got Qb, Wrs and Rb, need O-line and def help, which they can get with this draft. I would say Atl is a solid choice if I were HCing

Good luck with the traffic.

No there hasn't been any calls out of the Crescent City for a change at head coach but people don't care for Ryan at all. Peyton's good for a couple more years plus but when he does finally go I'll take that job and be eating char-broiled oysters and fresh shrimp regularly.

I don't think Atlanta is that desperate. I think Ryan will have to do a turn at DC again, before he gets another shot at HC

Skins ditched the DC.

I'm not as up on the OC/DC changes but from a fantasy perspective that to me honestly matters more than a HC change.

Washington DC is the only one I know if, where the HC has not changed. Per reports Giants are standing pat on both HC and GM, I am really surprised at that, but I do understand, the guy can win.

OC in Tampa is open(due to health issue) and Jags cut ties with their OC as well.
