According to the Rumors he has 3 top choices of places he would like to land:

what happened to Dallas?? We lost on Gruden! And Jason will get a shot, sure. But I think Jerry would rather have the big name of Cowher in the end.

Dont really see him in Carolina though; that team is a total mess, they have to rebuild basically from scratch. Dont see Giants either since they can still easily make playoffs; you guys think they will fire Coughlin even if they make playoffs??

HOUSTON! Perfect place for him. Supportive local media, patient fan base, dont have to face Bellichek or Andy Reid twice a year, AFC where he is familiar, and all he has to do to win the division is beat Peyton Manning.

Goodbye Kubiak :)

what happened to carolina? that's where i've heard him landing.

The discussion I watched this morning suggested that Carolina is moving away from the idea of spending big bucks on a coach. So while Cower would be nice grab for the Panthers the thinking is that the Panthers are leaning towards spending 1/2 as much on a young OC or DC.

Basically they are tight asses and figured to spend crap money on the crap players they have to get cheaper crap results.

Money will make anybody compatible.

The only big name established head coach that Jerry Jones has ever went to is Bill Parcells, and he was able to get this team no farther than Wade Phillips ever got he team. Jason Garrett is 4-2 in his interim job and will get the job next season. Jerry has wanted him as head coach for quite some time and this season provided Jerry with the perfect opportunity to let him prove himself.

Big difference is Bill built that team back up. he stocked the shelves nicely for wade to exist till now. i feel jerry wants Fisher and fisher wants that job.

Dallas has their head coach already, Jason Garrett will get the job.

As for Cowher, what is it about this guy that makes people think he can do what other coaches in the NFL have always failed to do? The ultimate goal is to win a Super Bowl. Big name coaches who have done this never go on to win another one for another team. I think alot of that has to do with the circus that follows these guys to their new teams.

Houston would be a great place for him. And if he goes to Houston, playoffs has to be the goal. I would say winning the first playoff game too.

Playoffs have been the goal in Houston for awhile. I would expect them to actually finish around 7-9 in the Chins first year, getting rid of the guys whose vaginas are too big to play for him, bringing in a good draft class.
