Not my favorite team, but as a fan of Warren Moon, watching the Oilers defense give up 300 points in the second half of the Bills playoff game was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I really thought it was Moon's best shot at even sniffing the Super Bowl.
For the last 2-3 years Jax has lost their last 3 games one year and 4 games the next, both times knocking them out of the playoffs. Last year was the toughest, they actually had the chance to win the division, knocking Indy off their high horse, but noooooooo, instead lose to finish the season out. And after seeing next seasons schedule, really hoping they stay locked out so i dont have to endure another losing season.
Easy one for me. 1990 NFC championship game. Niners going for the threepeat. Playing the Giants at home for the right to go to the Super Bowl. Up 13-12 late in the game when Montana gets knocked out by Leonard Marshall. Steve Young comes and completes a clutch third down pass to Brent Jones for the first down. Another first down seals it and even if they have to punt, the Giants get the ball back with only about 30 seconds left. Hand off to Roger Craig. FUMBLE! Giants recover. Hos moves them into field goal range and Matt Bahr drills it through from 44 yards as time expires for the 15-13 Giants win. No Threepeat...........
The Niners were much the better team, but Parcells did a masterful job of shortening the game and keeping the Giants in it. As much as I liked Roger Craig, I can't forget that he cost SF a shot at history as the only team to win three straight Super Bowls. Still hurts...........:sadbanana:
