Big Ben working out already.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said he has started his offseason workouts earlier than usual. Roethlisberger began training at the team's facility last week. He talked to head coach Mike Tomlin about where he is in his career and about the future. "When I talked to Mike, I said I don't know how much longer I have to play, no one does; it could be two years, three years, it could be eight years. Who knows?" Roethlisberger said. "I'm hoping that I'm just starting in my prime. I've already been working out with (Garrett Giemont), our strength coach, already. I've never worked out this early. It's not like high-intensity, out killing myself, but I'm working out, I want to come to camp lighter than I've ever come, in better shape, because as you get to a certain point, a certain age in this football thing, your body doesn't recover like it used to."

Not a bad idea after spending last year banged up all the time, I like it!

What I don't get is in the Tebow post you mention him working on his own because they are not allowed to work with the team yet Ben is working out with his team ???

Probably something to do with passing being a specific football activity where as working out, using the facility is general physical fitness :dunno:

There are more than a few ways to read this.

My first impression is Ben is getting work in
and getting press out.

Giving Tomlin a good old-fashioned tuckus ticklin'.

The fans read about Ben getting in.
That way they don't worry about a new qb savior now.

That will do for later.

Right now what it's all about
Big Ben is In!

and He's got at least two years
maybe Ten.
