Alabama is going to be picked as the league favorite when SEC Media Days are held in Birmingham this week. The Crimson Tide’s Nick Saban will be the first of 12 SEC head coaches to address the gathering. He’ll be joined by Bama’s three representatives to meet the press.

SO that being the pattern, a year or two more and he'll be leaving Alabama and since he seems to like the SEC, almost have to think he will land in there somewhere again. Has to be an up and coming team tho thats on the verge of winning since he won't stay around to build a team. Starting to think he is a very smart man but a crappy coach. Everywhere he goes its somebody elses players and when they gone , he;s gone. After he left LSU, they sure did fall fast and wouldn't that be his recruiting class?

The Tigers won their second title of the decade after he left but with mostly his recruits. Now all of our current players were recruited under Les.

Where would he go? Not that I have any love for Alabama or Satan, but Alabama is like Texas or Florida or Ohio State. You dont get bigger?

Maybe he will go take over the Carolina Panthers or something.....

I think that Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame might all be able to tempt Tricky Nick but that's just the vibe that I feel in my gut. I can't see him returning to the NFL. One ass kicking is enough for Nicky.

If Rich doesn't win this year in Michigan then that would definitly be a possibility. ND might be looking next season also.

Saban will never leave Alabama...he has no reason to. He had reasons to leave every other program he left.

ND won't fire Kelly that quick...and I have a feeling Kelly will work out there anyway.

Saban is from WV - went to college at Kent State in Ohio. I wouldn't be shocked if he left for a school in that general mid-west area (Michigan).

Saban could give a crap about were he is from so I dont see location as being an influence to where he coaches...apparently, Sabans wife is in love with Baton Rouge (and hates Tuscaloosa). Seriously, I dont see him ever leaving Bama unless by the hands of his wife. Money talks when it comes to $aban and Bama will always pay him more than the next guy.
