Draft Projection - Top 10 Pick

NFL Impact - AJ Green is a guy being looked at as the next Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson, a young big bodied WR with all the right tools. Green has great hands, is not afraid to go over the middle, and has a superior level of route running not normally seen in even upper echelon college WRs. Though Green doesnt have elite top end speed, his polished routes and good hands will make him a 75-85 reception WR right out of the gate. Cant go wrong with this selection.

After the performance at the combine from WR J.Jones, A.J.Green's stock may have slid a bit but is still going to be an NFL WR stud

He's a player pure and simple and he should have a bright future ahead of him unless he lands in the wrong situation.

My gut says Green goes top 10, either to Cincy, Cleveland or Washington.

Julio Jones won't be too far behind.

I dont think you can go wrong with either guy. I think a team of Caldwell, Green, Shipley, and Simpson in Cincy would be freakin exciting to watch. Just a ton of youth, talent, and speed out there.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Falcons are likely to contact the Browns about the No. 6 overall pick if Georgia WR A.J. Green falls past the Bengals at No. 4.
GM Thomas Dimitroff has a history of moving up and down in the draft, and it's no secret Atlanta needs a field stretcher with Tony Gonzalez in decline and Michael Jenkins' inability to separate. Green would be the split end, deep threat to Roddy White's flanker. It would take a lot of work on Atlanta's part, but sounds like a match made in heaven. The Browns also have so many weaknesses that a trade down might be exactly what they want.

The Falcons do need a WR to compliment Roddy. If you put Green opposite White, imagine how Ryan's numbers would increase. Having two amazing receivers would make the Falcons awesome. It would also take some of the load off of the Burner, who was on the decline late last season.

Atlanta would definitly be a good fit for him. Plus he'd be close to his college so he'd be able to catch a few saturday games.
