Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/feet) is expected to return to the practice field within the next two weeks.

Bradshaw's troubles with his feet have been well documented, as he's barely practiced over the last couple of seasons. After undergoing surgery right after the season, Bradshaw has repeatedly said how much better he feels. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry a year ago on those bad wheels.

Ahmad Bradshaw (feet/ankle) said he has been practicing once or twice a week and expects to be fully ready for the minicamp in June.

Bradshaw said he wasn't feeling 100 percent on Thursday, so he sat out the workout. It sounds very familiar after what Bradshaw went through last year, but the difference is that this time he's recovering from surgery to his feet. He should be able to practice much more consistently this season.

Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw was sidelined during the team's practice on Wednesday, sitting on the stationary bike while his teammates went to work. Head coach Tom Coughlin said Bradshaw is just "sore." Bradshaw had said earlier this offseason that he was not at 100 percent after having offseason surgery on both of his feet and his right ankle.

Analysis: Don't be worried about Bradshaw, who played very well last season with several injuries including a broken foot. The Giants can afford to be patient with him now and let him get rest when he's not feeling good. Bradshaw should continue to share carries with Brandon Jacobs in the Giants' backfield, but he should still be considered a low-end No. 3 Fantasy option coming into the season with the chance to start for you on certain weeks when the matchup is right. And if Jacobs struggles again or gets hurt then Bradshaw could be a boon to owners. Grab him starting in the middle rounds.

rotoworld,
Ahmad Bradshaw returned to the practice field Thursday for the first time since undergoing surgery to both feet and an ankle over the winter.

Bradshaw was limited to individual drills, but it was nice to see him make it out there for the final offseason practice for Giants veterans. Bradshaw remains on track for a minicamp return, but his durability concerns will likely keep him in the change-of-pace role behind Brandon Jacobs.

According to the NY Daily News, Ahmad Bradshaw was "limping much of the spring and limited in minicamp" after undergoing three offseason surgeries -- one to each foot and one to his ankle.

Observes beat reporter Ralph Vacchiano, "that’s a lot of surgery for a running back, especially one that makes his living off violent cuts." Bradshaw promises he feels better than ever, but the signs don't point toward him being fully healthy. The Giants begin training camp two-a-day practices this Sunday.

Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot/ankle) participated in drills during the first day of training camp on Sunday after sitting out of the morning's fitness test. Head coach Tom Coughlin said Bradshaw "looked okay to me."

Analysis: Bradshaw has had ankle problems dating back to his days in college and is likely to sit out practices this season to rest this lingering problem. He is a perfect complement to the power-running style of Brandon Jacobs and sees a fair amount of carries since Coughlin loves to run the football. Jacobs' owners might want to draft Bradshaw as a handcuff option, but even then, Bradshaw can still be a decent No. 3 Fantasy RB on his own in most standard formats.
