Giants LS Zak DeOssie announced his retirement.
DeOssie spent the past 13 years of his life out-snapping any and all who challenged him, at one point snapping the longest snap the likes of anyone had ever seen. Legend has it his snaps were the snappiest, even snapping at the point of snap if ye were lucky enough to catch them being snapped. He shall be missed.

NY Daily News' Pat Leonard reports Giants CB Deandre Baker was charged with four counts of robbery with a firearm.
The punishment for robbery with a firearm is a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life in state prison. Currently on the Commissioner's Exempt List awaiting a decision, 22-year-old Baker will presumably be released by the Giants in a matter of hours. Oddly enough, prosecutors are actually declining to charge Quinton Dunbar, whose lawyer was accused of paying off witnesses at the crime, due to insufficient evidence. The Giants have yet to comment.

Reports listed on PFT, have charges against Derrius Guice of stranglation of his girl friend in March. She has also said there were incidents in Feb and April but were not as violent. He has a trial date of August 28.
By multiple reports( and as stated in college football forum) the Big Ten has voted(12 -2) to delay fall sports - announcement to be made tomorrow

Who cares? I think the majority of NFL players have made their position known. Military and law enforcement aren’t exactly welcome guests there. Patriotism certainly isn’t comfortably at home there.
