I mentioned this one because I didn't pay much attention to Maclin previously but I like what i hear about him. Seems to be the red zone guy in Philly. Smith had a pretty good year last season and scored on many long catches. He had 7 td's last season but 3 were in one game. Maclin went through some minor health issues it seems every year. This is another toss up for me. Gonna have to support my decision in the draft and go Maclin. I think with D jackson there as well it will be harder for the opposing Def to lock down both

Nice close call here. I went targeted Maclin in one league and was lucky to get him where I did. I have a Torrey Smith in another league who had dropped a bit and I was happy he lasted long enough to grab him.

I will go Maclin. It may be close, but I just don't buy into Baltimore passing all that much, and Philly will.

that and I am a true homer:biggrin:

I guess I'm all alone over here on the Torrey Smith side. Wish I could make a strong argument why I like him over Maclin. Honestly, I think they are very close. I probably only went with Torrey because I drafted him in nearly every league.

I think the kid has a ton of upside and will be Flacco's favorite target. Those deep balls are sweeeeeet too.

I guess one could make a small argument against Maclin and that his production could be tied to Vick's always shaky health. That argument wouldnt hold much water though cause it looks like Foles could come in and that group wouldnt skip a beat.

There is absolutely no question which wr in a ppr format, and yet I still give Maclin the advantage in non ppr. I say it's almost like comparing deSean to Maclin. One presents the flash, and the big play, while the other just chugs along and racks the stats up.

I'm with RC....Maclin just gets it done. He's the most complete WR in Philly and the easy choice here for me.

torrey smith did a role bunch of chugging along and filling stat lines at the end of the season AND in the playoffs...
