2010 Hesiman Canidates.....who's your pick?

So who do you like for the Hesiman this year? Can Ingram go back to back? Will Pryor live up the immense hype and take the huge leap that the Rose Bowl showed he is capable of? What about first year starters replacing legends in Brantly & Gilbert? Can Kellen Moore lead Boise to the title game and a legit Heisman run? Or can Andy Dalton do the same for TCU? Case Keenum will put up video game numbers but will it matter? Ryan Williams was dynamite as a freshman, can VT be high profile enough for him to make a serious case? Same for Noel Devine, will WV put him in a spot to win? What about the Navy boy, Ricky Dobbs, that would be a great story!

So who else will be in the mix?

Who will win?

Pryor is getting a ton of hype, and he may just be able to live up to it. Buckeyes schedule sets up nicely and Pryor is entering his third year with a lot to prove. He'll be in the mix all year and if the Buckeyes can go undefeated Pryor might just walk away with the Heisman.

Id have to say its a race between Case Keenum and Kellen Moore.

I like Moore to pull it out.

I think Ryan Williams will make a serious run for it in 2011. I really like that kid!!

You really think Keenum has a chance? All it takes is one solid season from a team in the hunt for the championship to trump the video game offense guys usually. Moore IMO, has a legit shot......b/c he plays for a great team and if they run the table he will get a lot of consideration.

A couple homer'ish (yet actually realistic) picks..

Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas, and Dion Lewis, RB, Pitt.

yeah, K Moore has gotta be the preseason front runner...although, I haven't heard his name thrown around for it much. I just hate those Troy Smith type winners....handing it to em because the are the popular QB on a top 5 team. Its looking like Terrelle Pryor is fitting that mold atm.

BTW...Keenum is 32 touchdown passes behind Graham Harrell for the all-time record and 4,122 yards behind Chang's all-time yardage mark. You would think that IF he breaks both those marks....serious consideration should be given for the trophy.

They will also need to go undefeated and snag a BCS birth IMO.

The non conference slate is Texas State, UCLA, and Mississippi State. They only go on the road to UCLA.
