    Done deal: Rosenfels a Viking

;) Just a shame that Favre might stay retired this time..... :cunning:

2009 Forum Wide Mock Draft Pick #2 - St. Louis

I went with Jenkins....I think the Ram's need an immediate boost to their passing defense, and this guy has the potential to at least upgrade that unit this year, and perhaps even emerge as a long-term facet to their defense. I considered the OL and even the WR , Curry a little less so as I see...

Darrius Heward-Bey - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

This cat is the real deal. He is a tracl guy who converted really well, Maryland never used him properly. They did the same thing with Vernon Davis as well, used him as a decoy to open up other people. They did not have enough confidence in their QB's to thread balls to him in double coverage...

Childress welcomes an open competiton at QB

Agree completely. Would also note that the Vikings are developing a very nasty defense, and have a solid super star at running back, all they really need for a run is a serviceable QB.....at least one that makes few mistakes..... Last year we might be having a similar discussion about...

Andre Brown - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

He is far less powerful than he appears, or perhaps just lacks the attitude to hit with authority, he was able to get by at the college level, I think he fizzles against bigger faster players in the NFL

Childress welcomes an open competiton at QB

It's time for them to at least hedge. There is a solid chance for them to get Boller out of Baltimore, and to be fair the kid was given a pretty raw deal there, and given the right circumstances could provide a few years of perhaps solid play....ala Dilfer-style

Ravens place Franchise tag on Suggs for the 2nd year in a row

The speculation in Baltimore is that Scott is gone, and the Jet's likely get him. The speculation on Lewis is not yet clear. It's clear that the Ravens want to find a way to keep him, and also pretty clear that Lewis does want to stay. However, this is Lewis's last chance to cash out before...

I think the celebration-related fines and penalties are insipid. What they should do it fine the likes of Ward and others for their head-hunting actions.

Haynesworth will hit the open market!

After hitting it will he stomp on the markets head, then spit in its face and threaten to cut the markets mom in half?:hmmm:

Andre Brown - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

I have watched him play. To be fair the Wolfpack went out and got a QB that did most of their running this past year, but I also watched this cat get stood up WAY too often for a guy of his size and purported skill. I think his blocking is questionable as well.

Rey Maualuga - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

If ratface were still in Denver I think it would be Laurinaitis, but they could go either way with these two names...which I am already tired of typing and spell-checking the both of them :sadbanana:

Derrick Williams - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

I am disinclined to subscribe to Williams becoming anything more than a really good punt/kick returner at this time. While his 40 time looks very nice I never really felt that I saw him use it very well to break open; perhaps due to poor route running more so than lack of speed. That is a good...

James Laurinaitis - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

Is he picked before Aaron Curry or after? Can the two realistically even be compared? What I mean to say is that they fill two different "needs" so that a direct comparison is folly given the probability that no single team will be choosing between them directly.
