That offensive game plan was a complete failure for the Ravens. QB is still learning the NFL game though, and much can be taken from what he has learned this season.

Ravens gotta produce something on offense quickly coming out for the 2nd half, even if it's just a long field goal drive. They can be right back in this game if they produce after the half. If they don't, Manning likely puts the dagger in them immediately.
It is assumed that he wants the Carolina job, but I don't know if he has ever really come out and said it.
As for the game passing him by, I think he is a ways from having to worry about that. Gibbs completely left football, for a long time.
