Garrard joining Phins

Ahhh, the simplicity of living in a non NFL state.

But geographically, you should really be a Redskins fan. :biggrin:
 
I still don't see why they are bailing on Matt Moore? He was 6-3, threw for 2500, 16td's and 9 Int's with a QB rating of 87.8, in 9 games.....can a Dolphin fan explain this to me?
 
I would think they want Gerrard for veteran back up (or to take the hits while the new offense is working out it's kinks) so Tannehill can get up to NFL speed. Something about Matt Moore doesn't thrill the new coaching staff. That team is desperate for the Next Dan Marino; however, the FO hasn't wanted to draft for the next Franchise QB.
 
I know Kingdome started a rumor thread, but didn't I hear something about Jeff George going to Miami?

Yeah, but look at jjtweeks, he mentions in the chat box that he will become a Vikings fan if the Dolphins sign Garrard and Bingo it happens. I am not entirely to blame for this.

okay, maybe I am missing something here.

so, they sign Garrard I assume. He not too damn long ago was a top wanted Qb, at least in fantasy. He had a down year and was hurt. He is supposedly healthy....and I hope they got him cheap. So why the panic?

Matt Moore was nothing special, and he won 6 games. I don't see any reason this won't happen even with Garrard. Moore wasn't why they won. Athough...the loss of your best Wr may be a concern. :nod:
 
we don't need Garrard. We have Moore and we have a backup. Garrard said last year that he didn't want to play for the Dolphins. Garrard is not as good as Moore so why sign him. Last year we pulled the same crap in picking up Sage for no good reason and then J. P. Losman for no good reason and now we get Garrard (for no good reason)who possibly might not even make it through pre-season anyway. I just think its wasting time when you know this will never work out.
 
For me I just look towards FA for something new and exciting for my team. Ok so far we have signed Garrard "to help solve our QB problem" and we let our top WR go for peanuts. Yay:banana:
now what would just add icing on the cake would be to sign Grossman and announce that shanny will be our new HC. Then the destruction will be complete.
