According to coach Pete Carroll, second-year WR Deon Butler has made "more progress than anyone" since the new coaching staff took over.
"He's more disciplined about his route running," Carroll said. "We know he's really fast. He's been a consistent catcher. He needs to be physical." Carroll indicated that Butler is "right in the middle" of the competition to start. While Golden Tate has received the bulk of the offseason hype, Butler is running with the first team.
