Nice first 4, like the move by Buffalo to move up and grab Sammy! And to do it without giving up anything this year...nice deal. Brown's move back....still get a qb maybe?

Well they move up to 8......and take a cb, not a qb....

Well the D Is looking good, but thought Johnny football was going there.

Johnny football is gonna be a cowboy. It'll be awesome to watch that crazy train next year in Dallas!

Oh, German nailed it.

Johnny football to America's Team.

Hasn't happened yet, but Dallas is up and Jerry is an idiot.

Oops.

No ticket seller, no defense help...an OL.

I'm always a fan of OL help.

I apologize, Jerry.

Poor Johnny....Looks like the Jets for him.

Waiting for RC to chime in.

Some nice offensive talent in Cleveland. Is Johnny Football gonna save the Browns?

Love the Bengals getting Denard! This was my dream scenario, couldn't be happier.

Okay, here is my review of the first round..... I know no one cares, but its fun to do!:)

1) Houston takes J.Clowney DE - its the safe pick. You have a franchise that ha been successful, and has now fallen. Take the safe pick and watch OCs shake in their booties watching Watt and Clowney tear up you Qb and OL. Now, here is the thing - they really, really need a Qb, if Bridgewater was their target, they shot themselves in the foot. Can they take Carr 2.0???
2) St. Louis - God bless Fisher and a coach that KNOWS what you need to win. They get the best OT in this draft (G.Robinson), to protect a young Qb that has flashed. Stacy owners are doing the cha cha right now.
3) Jacksonville - Bortles - of the early Qbs to be taken, not many had Bortles going first. I like it, local kid, who can bring in the local folks to watch, has best build and has upside. NEED a Wr now, to cover for Blackmon being an idiot.
4) Trade - Buffalo - Buffalo trades 1.9, first in 2015 and a 4th in 2015 to get the BEST Wr in this draft. Great for them, as they have a solid running game, but needed a real #1 Wr. Now they have alot of young talent at Wr to help a young Qb grow. But Buffalo fans need to know this was for the future, not this year, as rarely to young Wrs really take off.
5) Oakland - are in a state of shock, they did nothing and got a dominant LB that will help their def long term - K.Mack was a steal here.
6) Falcons - Take the OT they needed in Matthews - very nice, and didn't sell the farm to move up.
7) Tampa Bay - did not make the HUGE mistake of taking a young Qb too early and instead takes the WR they desperately need to give V.J. and McCown the help they needed. Assuming D.Martin is back to full strength, this offense could be very, very scary.
8) Trade - Cleveland - move up one spot to nail the Cb they love to put with Haden - J.Gilbert. I like it, in the AFC North, you have to play Def.
9) Minnesota - trade down one pick and take A.Barr. Not loving this, this kid is a little too inconsitent. But I really think Bortles was their pick, and with him gone, they get some extra pick help. So I can live with it.
10) Detroit - E.Ebron - this is my first head scratcher of the night. A Friggen TE....with all the other needs they have? I don't get it, and evidently neither does Detroit.
11) Titans - T.Lewan - OT you can never have enough depth on OL and I think they want to let Locker survive this year. Not a bad pick.
12) N.Y. Giants - have to admit this one shocked me almost as much as Detroit. Love Beckham, and love this pick for Giants. Give Eli some tools to work with and he will get his groove back. That being said there was Martin OT and Donald DT there and I think this one they may regret due to that.
13) St. Louis - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pick!!! Adding Donald to that DL is just AWESOME!! What a great def. this could potentially be next year!! NFC West could be very, very scary next year.
14) Chicago - K.Fuller Cb - solid pick for key need. A little surprised it was not S with both Dix and Pryor still there.
15) Pittsburgh - Ryan Shazier - I am an OSU alumni, and I don't like this pick. Yes Pittsburgh needs to rebuild the Def, and this kid has talent, but with probably one of the best and most versatile OL still on the board in Martin there, and their isseus, this was a luxury pick they don't have the luxury to do.
16) Dallas - show immense restraint, and instead of going Ticket sales they go to add to a pretty solid OL with getting Martin. LOVE this pick as well.
17) Baltimore - C.J. Mosely ILB - time to rebuild the def. Solid pick.
18) N.Y. Jets - C.Pryor S - torn here. Love the kid and how he plays. But I wonder, really wonder if they understand there are two sides to the game?? Wr here would really have met the need.
19) Miami - J. James OT - was a must the OL needed pieces.
20) Trade - New Orleans moves up to take B.Cooks Wr - to address some needed help, and snark the Wr from Philly. Had to move up here if they wanted him. Arizona moves down for some more picks.
21) Green Bay - Ha Ha Dix S - needed def. help, LBs were not value here, and they needed a play maker. Fell from heaven.
22) Cleveland - okay this one was interesting. Did they know Minny was trying to move back up? Or did Minny move up after this pick...we may never know. But Cleveland gets themselves Johnny Football...and at a minimal cost. Reducing the risk. Philly trades down, since the target I think they really wanted wasn't there, and if the guy they take later was who they wanted, moving down was best.
23) Kansas City - Dee Ford....REALLY?!?!?! don't get this one, wonder if there is something about Lee we don't know. Too many Wr needy teams are passing up on him.
24) Cincinnati - they sit patiently and get the guy they could not possibly hope for. D.Dennard Cb. He may not be the fastest, but he fits this system like a glove. What a steal here!!
25) San Diego - J. Verrett Cb - meets a need.
26) Philadelphia - M.Smith DE Louisville. I don't get this one. I get the Wrs you wanted were gone. I get the S you may have wanted are gone. Same at Cb. But if this is the guy you really wanted, trading down more would have made sense. Don't think this guy was rated this high for most. Bad pick IMO.
27) Arizona - D.Buchanon S - interesting pick. Need for them, and they traded down to maximize the value.
28) Carolina - K.Benjamin Wr - a much needed help, big target for Cam. What the hell is going on with Lee?? Is the stigma of a USC wr that bad??
29) New England - D.Easley DT - hmmm.... I get it, they know more than everyone else...but with Hagamen stil on the board....hmmm....
30) San Francisco - J.Ward S - NICE. Love this move. Good solid guy and will help that def. more.
31) Denver - B.Roby Cb - Wow, Denver doing the Happy dance. Get a great talent at a need. Wow they have to be happy.
32) Trade - Minnesota plays the game moves up to snake Bridgewater away from Houston. Brilliant move! Bravo Minnesota.

Other than a few head scratchers most were solid. Detroit and Philly( only better since they got extra picks) seem to be biggest losers so far.
