Gonna be some squads looking awfully DEEP this week. Injuries, byes and tough matchups will be a growing part of our decisions for the next 7 weeks.

I feel there are 3 nice DEEP options at Qb this week. All 3 of them at home and coming off of tough losses last week.
- Fitzpatrick is good for 250 and 2 Td's. If he throws 3 picks he might get another 50 yards passing and a sniff at another TD. (vs NYJ)
- Gradkowski will have better luck then the other "kowski" had last week. I see 325 and 3 Td's as a definite possibility. (vs. Texans)
- Henne should have a solid Monday Night performance vs. the Pats. I see a workmanlike 250+ and a pair of TD's

It is a much harder venture trying to snag a nice DEEP back this week.
- Dust off Sproles and start him this week. I see him with just over 100 combined and 5-6 receptions. If he pops the long one, you win this week. (vs. ARI)
- CBuck is getting stronger and will make a nice flex play in ppr leagues. 75 combined with 5 receptions. (at TEN)
- Ivory will be a nice grab for a cheap TD this week. (vs CAR)

The cupboards are pretty bare at wideout, but t spy a few guys with some DEEP potential
- Justin Gage will have a nice day with 6+ catches for 75 yards and a Td. (vs. DEN)
**- Likely my deepest call yet, I like Cruz to step in for an injured Manningham and give the Bears fits. 3 for 105 and a score. (vs. CHI) Update:sounds like Manningham is a go. **

DEEP Te's
-It's not extremely DEEP but Kevin Boss will expoit the middle vs. the Bears for 65 yards and 5 catches with a TD. (vs. Bears)
- Ben Watson will be a fine Te start vs. CIN. 5 for 75 and a Td. (vs. CIN)
- Ben Patrick could be a real sneaky start this week and the cardinals need to try to find a little help for Fitz with Breaston out.

I can't help but share a hunch with you that I have this week. I think that McNabb will be searching for a guy to go into battle with in philadelphia, and I feel that guy might be mike sellers.

Goodluck in week 4.

Hey RC
Dusted off Sproles,(using as a flex) what if mathews starts? CBuck is my other RB(with moreno out) and SJax is my #1 and he's hurting. Pretty banged up right now! only other back i have left is ricky. our WW is picked clean as soon as anyone mentions a name and i have 5th pick this week.

just to add 2 name for the WRs (both 0% starts in yahoo right now, so if your desperate):

Blair White - he should be #3 WR for Indy, and they play the god awful Jags. Dont expect much if Garcon-Gonz return though.

Stephen Williams - a few people already mentioned him on this forum, he should be starting for the cardinals while Breaston recovers.

I'd play Ricky. Are guys like Ivory gone on your wire?
Actually Ivory is still there after last night's WW along with Torain. Darby was picked up though. Trying to work a trade to get a rb but it will cost me big ben to get forsett but not sure if that will even fly. Plus my other qb is romo so i need to get a qb tonight also.

When the news hit that Garcon and GonzoLite didn't make the flight White was the sneaky play of the week with 4/65/td.

Your Deep End intel is great, RC! Especially for teams that have been racked by injury and non performing studs.

RC what is your take on John Kuhn. THe lions have a big line so they need a big guy to punch it through. B. Jackson is not that guy. I am saying 2 scores for Mr. kuhn

I just don't think the Packers will ever get in the Goaline situation vs the Lions. They will be scoring from outside of that range. Kuhns best bet is a nice Packer lead in the second half giving him a chance for some touches milking the clock. I don't see them starting the game with any kind of running strategy.

The Saints promoted Deshawn Wynn from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, the National Football Post reports. Analysis: Wynn's promotion could be an indication that the Saints are skeptical about Pierre Thomas' availability for Sunday's game. If Thomas can't play, Wynn will serve as the No. 3 back behind Chris Ivory and Ladell Betts.

- Fitzpatrick is good for 250 and 2 Td's. If he throws 3 picks he might get another 50 yards passing and a sniff at another TD. (vs NYJ) 201 total yards and 2 tds. The 74 yards on his legs scored better then had he passed for them.
- Gradkowski will have better luck then the other "kowski" had last week. I see 325 and 3 Td's as a definite possibility. (vs. Texans) 294 yards and 2 TD's
**- Henne should have a solid Monday Night performance vs. the Pats. I see a workmanlike 250+ and a pair of TD's ** 302 yards and 2 Td's

It is a much harder venture trying to snag a nice DEEP back this week.
- Dust off Sproles and start him this week. I see him with just over 100 combined and 5-6 receptions. If he pops the long one, you win this week. (vs. ARI) What a let down. He fumbled away his first or second touch for a TD the otherway and earned a seat. 6 for 17 and no receptions.
- CBuck is getting stronger and will make a nice flex play in ppr leagues. 75 combined with 5 receptions. (at TEN) I missed on the yardage sme, but just like last year, CBuck is the best back on the team and they have to figure that out. 5 receptions, 41 total yards and a TD

- Ivory will be a nice grab for a cheap TD this week. (vs CAR) - 12 for 67 yards with no cheap TD and some company with Betts added and involved. Cheap TD would have been about 7 points for the 1 yard plunge and he got 6.7.

The cupboards are pretty bare at wideout, but t spy a few guys with some DEEP potential
- Justin Gage will have a nice day with 6+ catches for 75 yards and a Td. (vs. DEN) - 2 for 30 and Britt got the TD grab for the 3 straight week.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
**- Likely my deepest call yet, I like Cruz to step in for an injured Manningham and give the Bears fits. 3 for 105 and a score. (vs. CHI) Update:sounds like Manningham is a go. ** Manningham got healthy, then shutout

DEEP Te's
-It's not extremely DEEP but Kevin Boss will expoit the middle vs. the Bears for 65 yards and 5 catches with a TD. (vs. Bears) 1 for 11 in that fiasco called a Sunday Night Game
- Ben Watson will be a fine Te start vs. CIN. 5 for 75 and a Td. (vs. CIN) 6 for 60 and no TD, but i am gonna try to slide this one by you all for credit anyway. :homer:
- Ben Patrick could be a real sneaky start this week and the cardinals need to try to find a little help for Fitz with Breaston out. 2 for 12, but it wasn't Patricks fault

I can't help but share a hunch with you that I have this week. I think that McNabb will be searching for a guy to go into battle with in philadelphia, and I feel that guy might be mike sellers. Portis and Torrain went to the mat for him, along with Cooley. Sellers was 1 for 5 but this one was DEEP.

Goodluck in week 4.

This turned out to be about spot on with scores coming from 29, 13, and 17 yards. He got the bulk of his work in the 4th. (9 for 39.)

I am pleased with this one because I own him in multiple leagues and formats and held off this trap game. (I guess he'd have been better than my Wells start over him) lol!

The rest of the damages are on page 1, with Henne still to play.

You were correct. I took out Kuhn at the last minute. BUT the only other option was Sproles and he did worse. LOL.

A fumble on your first carry that turns into your opponents first score is gonna get you put away. he's lucky they walked away with this game or he'd have never seen the field again at all. He really let me down this week.
