Who is the most worthless WR?

Of the high price variety. Roy Williams? Braylon Edwards? Will one of them or a name yet not mentioned turn it around in 2010?

I'm gonna go with Braylon Edwards. The dude had one descent year in 2007 with 80 rec, 1200+ yds, and 16 tds.

He has not been over 900yds before or since that season and only once (2006) had more than 4 tds in a year. Yet I still see this guy going before the 4th round in every draft.

I would go with Williams. Edwards has other issues that have contributed to him not producing but Williams appears to have been a cancer in Detroit and a very expensive #2 in Dallas.

What other issues does Edwards have? He was the #1 WR in Cleveland and has not had any health or injury issues that have caused him to miss games. He just sucked for the sake of sucking!

Dude drops more balls than any other WR in the league.

He can't get open on short routes.

After re-reading your post I must now ask, are you talking value fantasy wise or real world (team) wise?

Oh and btw. My choice of Edwards in no way means that I don't think Roy Williams is garbage also.

His rookie season was marred by a holdout, staph infection and then a season ending surgery.

He did well his 2nd year and broke out in his 3rd season. He did take a step back his 4th season and after that the team as a whole has struggled as much as he has.

But I was referring more to the off-field issues like assault charges and the Nik Pace paternity claims.

You know I didn't even think about the off field issues.

Ill give him this last year didnt totally blow, but the wasnt that great in Miami and didnt do much in San Diego.

Lets not let DHB slide either.

At the fantasy level having Chambers I must admit he was no #1 WR but he had an element of consistency that kept him from riding the pine.

DHB is the most obvious I think but I would also have to argue that it is to early to judge him. If Russell is QB for the season I could see next year being the make or break season for that youngster.

I agree. Then again he still didnt do much with Gradkowski either.

Wasnt Ginn a 1st round pick?

I do believe so - does he get a break because of the rotating QB's? I haven't watched him much and have not seen any indication of improvement so I would like to hear others assessment of him.

I dont think so. Henne is the real deal, and Coles/Cotch had good years with noodlearm in NY.

I am rooting for Henne and have nothing against Pennington but the team has rotated pretty steadily right before Chad and immediately after - I was thinking more along the lines of him getting used to 1 QB and then having to shift to another than any type of indictment with the actual QB's he was working with.
