Which Rookie TE's do you see as targets this year in Dynasty leagues?

I have three I will deeply target:

Pettigrew in Detroit: One real key need for a young Qb is a large target to be able to dump off to while learning in the league. Pettigrew will be blocking mostly at first...but once the ball goes to Stafford.....I think his receiving ability will shine.

Cook to Tenn. : They love to throw to the TE, and Cook is a great target. I would not be surprised to see the Tender pulled from Scaife for this kid. Plus the Wr core still isn't all that much to talk about.

Nelson to Buffalo: Again, giving the young Qb some much needed receiving help. Defenses will key on Owens and Evans...so Nelson may get some love down under.

Sleepers:
Coffman in Cincy: Cincy fans have begged for a real pass catching target at Te for Palmer to use. They made an FA move...but still no real luck. This kid could be a huge boon for the passing game. Needs to work on blocking though.

Beckum in NYGiants: Yes they have Boss....but then who? Kid has talent, if he can stay healthy, he will do very well for Eli.

As I said, I love Coffman, my concern is cincy. In the past they have not really utilized the TE very much. Most of the time the passing game was to the Wr. Now, they haven't really had a great TE in a while. You can also call out the fact that T.J. is gone, Chad seems to be declining, Henry is an enigma and Coles also is on the decline. :wtf: Hmmm...I may have just talked my way into bumping him up ;)

If cincy dont use Coffman to his potential why draft him, :headscratch: and if they dont what a waste of talent.
His game film looks good and could have a great NFL career.

I think you guys are overlooking Cornelius Ingram in Philly.
He's a pure pass-catcher, and now that they have Maclin and DeSean stretching the field and Curtis opening up the middle, this cat could be a red-zone and 3rd down stud from day one.
No more L.J. Smith, and Celek isn't exactly a world-beater.

I don't think they use Ingram much, call it gut feeling, but they will reward Celek for his playoff performances. I think for a while at least...Celek is THE guy.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans TE Bo Scaife signed his franchise tender Monday, April 27, which guarantees him a $4.46 million salary in 2009.

not saying cook is a bad choice because the titans use the te a lot, but scaife isn't a slouch either . . . with that said, his signing is only good for this year for now . . . ;)

I'm excited to see how Ingram does in Philly. The guy was set to be ranked the top TE coming into last season before he tore his ACL before the season opener. Great catching TE, but I think he eases into the role. I need to check his combine stats because to be honest, ever since his injury I kind of forgot about him.

Coffman, Cook, and Pettigrew are all guys I like to make impacts from a dynasty standpoint. May not happen over night for some, but in a 3-5 year window these 3 could be a nice trio out of this draft. Cook will share attention with Scaife this season, but chances are they let him walk next year. In an offense that uses the TE a lot, Cook should be the beneficiary in 2010 and beyond. Pettigrew will be a great safety net for Stafford. This was a nice pick-up for them. He abilities as a blocker will limit some pass catching opportunities. I think he'll be solid, but in the end he'll be better in real life than fantasy. Coffman is a great receiver and can provide Carson with a presence over the middle. This is something Utech was supposed to do, but I think Coffman actually does it.
