Oct 4 against the Chargers can go either way. It will depend on which team is more banged up. Pit seems to struggle against SD when it should be a definite win. TN could also suprise Pit.

That being said, Pit has an easy schedule, or at least it looks like it, SO a 12 or 13 win season looks obtainable.

Since i live here i have to at least pay some attention to them. Looking at the schedule they will win 5 and maybe still one during the season to get that 6th win. They got a tough schedule and with the other AFC south teams much better now, its gonna be a long season in Jax.

Detroit Lions

Detroit rebounding this year is worth posting twice.

Det @ NO: In a close game the expected happens and Detroit starts 0-1

Min @ Det: Det gets its revenge against AD and crew by eking out an early season upset 1-1

Was @ Det: Det proves last week was not a fluke and move over .500 for the 1st time in... a long time 2-1

Det @ Chi: Call me a homer but facing Cutler early helps Det start conversations consisting of last to first predictions at 3-1

Pit @ Det: Come on they are improving but they are not there yet 3-2

Det @ GB: Packers are still a force at home 3-3

BYE

SL @ Det: Det recoups from 2 painful losses and comes out on top 4-3

Det @ Sea: Sea's ground game is controlled allowing Det to enjoy the flight home with a record of 5-3

Det @ Min: Minny splits with the Lions sending them home 5-4

Cle @ Det: Cle's passing game never takes off and leave Det possessing a 6-4 record

GB @ Det: NOT IN OUR HOUSE BIIATCH. The surprising Lions are suddenly 7-4

Det @ Cin: Det sneaks out with an ugly win 8-4

Det @ Bal: Det loses ugly 8-5

Ari @ Det: Det loses ugly again 8-6

Det @ SF: Det appears to have righted their ship and pull out of their slump 9-6

Chi @ Det: Nice season that ends on a flat note as Cutler look good and makes their Wrs look good as well

9-7

Packer goggles on!

This is a throw down. The Lions will split with the Packers THIS year and may even finish ahead of your Cheesy Bas - - - ds.

The cats have some teeth now and you will hear us restore the roar.

We may not be the champions of the world yet but you will find out the hard way that we have not been declawed.

When the schedules were announced, I posted a projected 13 wins, barring injuries.

If half the team goes out for the year in the preseason, I'll go 10 wins and a wild card birth.

10-4, i didn't see that. My bad.

With the schedule they got this year , even Jax could win 10 games. Even with a massive amount of injuries , 10- 11 wins should be expected from them. Not sure if they can repeat with a SB win, too many variables to say right now.

Already, here goes the Homer predictions for the Bengals:
Denver - W
@ Green Bay - L
Pittsburgh - L
@ Cleveland - W
@ Baltimore - L
Houston - W
Chicago - L
BYE
Baltimore - W
@ Pittsburgh - L
@ Oakland - W
Cleveland - W
Detroit - W
@ Minnesota - L
@ San Diego - L
Kansas City - W
@ NY Jets - W

I'm going with an optimistic 9-7, 7-9 to 8-8 is more realistic in all likely hood.
