Lets assume for fun we will have NFL this year. What are the key needs for your team?

I will start - Philadelphia

Need 1 - straighten out the Qb situation. Yes, we can tag Vick, but is that smart? If you tag him, will he be willing to re-sign next year? Also, what does this do to Kolb? I don't see any way you can tag Vick, and then deal Kolb. You need to protection in case you can't re-sign Vick. Then again, you just hosed Kolb...so you may not be able to re-sign other.

Here is what I would do. Tag Vick to hold him, then negotiate a solid 2 or 3 year contract with him. Then you trade Kolb, probably asking for a 1st and more, but willing to accept two 2nds or such. I know they are high on Kafka, who was a rookie last year. So they may want to get a vet in for depth in case of injury.

Now, with those extra picks lets hit key needs:
Cb - need someone on the other side of Samuel, and for that matter to groom to replace Samuel. Would love one of two free agent Corners Asoumagha(sp?) or Jonathen Joseph of Cincy. Or draft for depth.

Lb - I love Stewart Bradley, when he is there they are awesome. Unfortunately, he keeps getting hurt. Need a solid back up for ILB.

Safety - Allen was a winner. But talent dropped when he got hurt. Drafting another Safety for depth could help.

O-Line - Center was hurt, Tackles got hurt, Guards got hurt. WE need major infusion for O-line. Center and RT are huge areas of concern. Hoping they can snag a dropper in the first round to handle Tackle.

Anyone else?

Jax needs QB and secondary help above all else first. Hopefully they cna pick up a starter out of FA to fill the QB position and/or do the same with the secondary. They can also go thru the draft for the secondary and pick up a WR. They really need alot of help on both sides of the ball which will take several years of drafting and FA to have any chance for the playoffs. Jax biggest problem this season i thought was their offensive play calling. Too predictable and boring. Might have been because of their lack of offensive talent or the coach had no faith in the team or maybe the play calling was done by a total dumbass.

Ill speak on my old ladies team since Mike will tell you the Cowboys are perfect and the Texans list would take way too long.

Kansas City:

Having to watch this team this year, I saw two big things.

1. Get a WR in FA or the draft to pair with Dwayne Bowe. Im still not 100% sure the Chiefs didnt run some snaps with a stadium hot dog vendor at WR2. Yikes.
2. Im a big fan of Thomas Jones, but a big back needs to be drafted to pair with Charles. Someone with a bit more explosion and mobility.

The Raiders

OL If Al Davis is hell bent on the long ball this needs some attention

WR Jacoby Ford made a huge impact in 2010 and should be a starter going forward not much to brag about after that except the ever consistent play of TE. Z.Miller

QB J.Campbell will most likely be the starter in 2011, its going to be a long season if this position is not upgraded in FA or the draft

Not necessarily in that order

1. OLINE - possibly 5 or 6 players here
2. DT - Need an inside rush and pressure from front 4 for the defence to be effective
3. WR - Need a legit #1
4. DBs - can upgrade at multiple spots

San Francisco:

-QB: Most glaring need. Doubt they will address it with the #7 pick unless they move down or someone like Locker falls into the mid 2nd. I have heard Ortons name being thrown around and I like the sound of it.

-CB: They have no DBs who are better than average. Patrick Peterson would be nice but that probably a pipe dream unless they move up. Prince wouldn't be a bad consolation prize. I think the #7 pick is one of these guys.

-Safety: See CB. Same problem. Smith looked OK and hopefully, Mays will develop. I have hope since he has great athleticism and a very good work ethic.

-WR: I still want to see someone more explosive than Morgan as the #2.

I hear everyone talk about an "edge pass rusher" but I think they have the players in McDonald, LaBoy, Brooks, Smith and Lawson. They need a more aggressive scheme.

Detroit Lions:

CB: They desperately need a shut down corner.

OL: Need a franchise Left Tackle. Backus has been fine in run blocking, but horrible in pass blocking. Maybe move Backus to the right.

LB: Need to upgrade the linebacking corp. Had some injuries this year, but still need more pieces.

C: Raiola is tiny compared to the rest of the centers in the league. I can't even count how many times he was run over because he is so undersized.

Tampa Bay:

DE: McCoy was coming on at the end of the season before his injury, and Roy Miller filled in well in his 2nd year. We need to see more from Brian Price but I'm not worried about him. Some added rush on the outside would benefit the Bucs the most, right now. Our last high DE pick was Gaines Adams, it's time to try our luck this time around in the draft.

OL: We were actually pretty good upfront, but as good as our OL was, it has yet again become the worst part of our offense, simply based on the great play elsewhere. A young slot WR wouldn't hurt either, mostly for 3rd down assistance, but Mike Williams, Stroughter, Winslow, and Benn are doing very well.

KR: I can't stress the importance of field position and a KR for the Bucs would help out Freeman greatly. Spurlock is doing just fine on punts.

S: Cody Grimm at SS worked out quite nicely before his injury and I believe that he's earned himself the starting spot. Sean Jones is a vet FS but I'd like to groom a young talent to take over there, seeing as that was a very strong position in last year's draft that we missed out on.
