Beings I own either one or both on quite a few squads this helps make up my mind for wk1. Wells is on the bench.

Cardinals | Beanie Wells not fully healthy Mon Sep 6, 04:56 PM
Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said RB Beanie Wells (knee) is not fully recovered from his knee injury and the team will monitor him this week during practice, reports AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban.
Our view: Fantasy owners need to note that Tim Hightower is still the starter in Arizona, and this Wells injury could keep the pecking order the same way for most of the season.

I really needed this news on Wells as I need Hightower to help me on a few teams this week while I wait out Moreno's true status.

Much thanks. Week 1 rankings are due for an update tomorrow.

Though Wells (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, coach Ken Whisenhunt said he still thinks the running back will play in the Cardinals' season opener, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Analysis: Tim Hightower would be in line for added work this weekend if Wells is limited at all, or even deactivated, but until we hear otherwise, we'll operate under the assumption that Wells will go. Of course, we'd feel a whole lot better about recommending him in any format if he was able to practice by Friday, at the latest. We'll revisit Wells' status after Thursday's practice.

Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 8. Analysis: This isn't a complete shocker but it's annoying nonetheless, especially since we never got any details about an MRI (or if there was one). Let's see if Wells practices Thursday or Friday, and in the meatime you should be making plans to start someone else. Tim Hightower is looking like a sneaky flex play at St. Louis, who ranked 27th against the run last year.

(KFFL) Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) is improving on a daily basis, but the Cardinals will wait and see how he progresses before deciding if he's ready for the game this week, according to head coach Ken Whisenhunt. "We're going to have to wait and see. We're going to have to wait and see with Beanie," said Whisenhunt. "He is getting better on a daily basis and hopefully he'll be able to progress into doing some work later in the week and see if he's ready for the game."

Cardinals RB Beanie Wells(notes) (knee) missed practice again Thursday, and coach Ken Whisenhunt now says he is in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game at St. Louis.

"What concerns me, I don't want this to be something in Week 12, Week 13 or Week 14 that you are having issues with," Whisenhunt told reporters Thursday. "If we feel Beanie has made enough progress by Sunday, he will play. If we don't, like I said, I feel strongly about who we have at the position."
