Ok, so we have all seen it many times. Bellick has called it intentional and one of the worst plays he has seen. He feels the league should act

So....do you feel this was a dirty hit?

My take....no way he tried to take him out of the game. This is a play you see all the time, it is a pick from a crossing route, Hell NE has done this a million times. Unfortunately Talib got hurt....but this is common. May be a penalty, but it happens all the time and is rarely called.

it was not dirty, it was "intentional" in that he was meant to take the db out of the play. He hit him mid body....so last time I checked this was tackle football and not flag right?

The NFL confirmed that Wes Welker's "rub" on Aqib Talib in the AFC Championship Game was completely legal. In their statement they went on to say that no penalty should have been called because the hit occurred at the precise moment that the ball was caught by the receiver. Additionally Brother Bill has been informed of their ruling.
