The Saints are coming off a bye week fresh and with all the RBs at their disposal. It is also a matchup of big time teams as the Giants are on tap.

At this point most would agree that Pierre Thomas will get the Lions share of touches. But what will the lions share of Touches in New Orleans mean? The Saints have never been shy about playing any RB in their Committee and have the Saints #3 RB has been generally a nice thing most years especially when bye weeks come a rolling around. Will it be Thomas with 60% of the shares or will it be 50% 25/25% Bush and Bell? Will Bell and Bush get enough to be somewhat effective? Consider RBs who will be missing this week.

Gore/and Coffee Gore missing and Coffee doing nicely for a Rookie backup.

Choice/ MBarber/ Felix Jones

Ronnie Brown/ Ricky Williams

Addai/ D Brown.

Lots of Horsepower missing this week. Is a Saints RB any help? You going to need to use one?

Thomas said no one has spoken to him about the running back rotation plan. He anticipates the team will keep a good rotation and try to keep the fresh legs on the field at all times. Bell, who has missed the past two games with a sprained MCL in his knee, is being cautious about his return. 'I don't feel like I have the mentality of running timid in my nature,' Bell said. [...]
