Week 5 : Bengals RB Cedric Benson To play this Week?

As of the end of the day Tuesday, the NFL still hadn't announced a decision on Benson's appeal, the Bengals' official site reports. The presumption from the Bengals was that if Benson were to be suspended, they would know before the start of practice Wednesday, in order to give them enough time to prepare for Sunday's game.
 
Those of us that grabbed Benard Scott to back him up will have to hold onto the roster spot at least one more week. Benson has a great chance of beating this but you never know with the NFL.
 
Well, In SOFFL, if this holds up I am just Happy to have him this week With Mendy questionable and Mewelde doubtful. Good week to grab Redman? I know RC did.
 
I drafted him in both my leagues expecting Mendy to break down after the heavy load he packed last season. I expected a lot worse break down than this appears to be though. Do you remember Redman's first year in the league when he wasn't even listed on the draft boards and I had you pencil him in for me in sofflII? Maybe this young man that I've quietly watched will finally do something, maybe not-LOL!
 
I do remember that! Redman is interesting, last year he was barely used. But even with a small body of work both last year and this year you get that feeling that if called upon to tote the rock he would be good at it.
 
First, if you grabbed Scott to back up Benson, you wasted time.

Second, not sure any ONE back will be used to back up Benson.
 
While Benson seems to be a sure thing this week (week 5). There are some rumors floating around right now that it may be announced late this week (Fri) that he will be suspended for week 6.
