Week 2: Game Time Desicions

Washington receiver Pierre Garcon will be a game-time call Sunday versus St. Louis. He's dealing with a bruised right foot.

An interesting debate for me as The team that has Garcon also has Fred Davis on the bench and Davis may see an uptick in Targets with Garcon out.

Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson is questionable for Sunday's matchup versus the Ravens. He's dealing with a hamstring injury. Analysis: Jackson returned to practice in a limited capacity Friday. The Eagles need all the help they can get if they want to beat Baltimore, so we'd expect Jackson to be on the field Sunday even though coach Andy Reid is calling him a game-time decision.

Both Maclin and Jackson were sounding iffy mid-week. Maclin sounds like a go and DeSean sounds close to paying.

According to Les Bowen of Philly.com, Philadelphia wideout Jeremy Maclin isn't feeling pain from his hip injury and thinks he will play on Sunday.

San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (clavicle) still has not completed a full practice since injuring his clavicle in early August. He said his activity level during the team's practice Friday, Sept. 14, was similar to that of the day before when he just ran a few routes and went through some team drills. Mathews has yet to truly test his surgically-repaired shoulder. He is questionable on the team's injury report, putting his status as 50-50 for Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans.

He is medically cleared to play but most reports aren't hopeful, But it is worth keeping an eye on this weeks inactives as if he is a go he probably is very important to your team. But as it's a Sunday night game you probably won't have a roster spot available.

According to Titans beat writer Terry McCormick, receiver Nate Washington (leg) has yet to practice this week, making him a huge risk to play on Sunday. Washington (leg) and Kenny Britt (play count limit) could create a situation where rookie Kendall Wright and tight end Jared Cook lead the Titans receiving corps in Week 2. This will be a very fluid situation until game-time.

Here is a couple of probables just to cheer you up a bit.

Seahawks WR Golden Tate (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Dallas, Seahawks.com reports.

Raiders WR Denarius Moore (hamstring) is probable for Sunday's game against Miami, the Dolphins' official site reports. Barring a setback, Moore should be out there Sunday, and he'll start the year with a rather friendly matchup against a weak Miami secondary.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Friday, Sept. 14, he still has hope QB John Skelton (ankle) will play in Week 2 despite being listed as doubtful for the game. Stay a way from this situation although it is unlikely you would be needing any Cardinal QB.

Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson is listed as questionable for Week 2 with a groin injury, but is expected to play. Analysis: Beat writer Kent Somers considers Peterson closer to probable than questionable despite the "Q" tag. Peterson helped hold Sidney Rice under 40 yards in the season opener. We expect to see him match up with Brandon Lloyd in Week 2.
