Week 1 DEEPEND

I know must of you don't need to dig DEEP yet, but there are a few Manning and Foster owners who are freaking.

QB-
-Plug in Orton this week and take advantage of his 300 yard 3 TD performance vs. the Raiders who embarassed the Broncos last year.
- Colt McCoy is a fine start vs. the Bengals at home. I see 250 yards and 2 TD's. If this game is contested* then I see even better results. (he might take one in on his own*) Remember that Hillis is just as effective receiving as bulldozing.....he just bulldozes after catching.
RB-
-Woodhead suffices as a flex/ppr start with 5 catches for 45 yards to go along with his 40 yards rushing, and he's alwasy an option inside the redzone to take it in.
- Fred Jackson isn't extremely DEEP, but he should find the endzone today, and is running blue collar MAD. Ppr doesn't hurt him, so he is a play in either format.
- Non- ppr leagues can consider Tolbert or Ward for a dive.
WR-
-I love Nate Burleson and feel he gives the Lions a hot start opposite Calvin. Stafford feels him in the endzone too, which is a bonus. 5-75 and a TD.
- Decker (if you need him) 5-75 and a TD.
-Under appreciated but always big in blood matches, don't be afraid to start Ward vs. the Ravens. He'll get bloody and score.
- No one will be using him but Dom Hixon will push Manningham as the #2 target on the Giants this week. 5 catches for 65 and a possible score. (I hear the general concensus WTF and understand)
- Santana Moss will put up big ppr #'s
TE-
-Evan Moore, Kendricks and Fred Davis.

I know must of you don't need to dig DEEP yet, but there are a few Manning and Foster owners who are freaking.

QB-
-Plug in Orton this week and take advantage of his 300 yard 3 TD performance vs. the Raiders who embarassed the Broncos last year. -He threw for 304 yards, but only 1 TD
- 224 yards and 2 Td's
RB-
-Woodhead suffices as a flex/ppr start with 5 catches for 45 yards to go along with his 40 yards rushing, and he's alwasy an option inside the redzone to take it in. -75 total yards and 1 reception
- Fred Jackson isn't extremely DEEP, but he should find the endzone today, and is running blue collar MAD. Ppr doesn't hurt him, so he is a play in either format. -117 yards, but no score
- Non- ppr leagues can consider Tolbert or Ward for a dive. -Tolbert for 93 combined yards and 3 scores!! Ward got his TD dive and 39 yards
WR-
-I love Nate Burleson and feel he gives the Lions a hot start opposite Calvin. Stafford feels him in the endzone too, which is a bonus. 5-75 and a TD. -Nate went 5 for 60 yards and 80 combibed, with 1 20 yard reverse. 2 endzone targets but no score
- Decker (if you need him) 5-75 and a TD. -5 catches, but only 53 yards and no score (I was a week early on him)
-Under appreciated but always big in blood matches, don't be afraid to start Ward vs. the Ravens. He'll get bloody and score. - A big swing and a miss on Ward. 5-67
- No one will be using him but Dom Hixon will push Manningham as the #2 target on the Giants this week. 5 catches for 65 and a possible score. (I hear the general concensus WTF and understand) -Strike 2 on Hixon. Circus catch in wk 2 and done with injury
- Santana Moss will put up big ppr #'s - we'll accept the 6 for 76 as a hit
TE-
-Evan Moore, Kendricks and Fred Davis. -Moore caught 3 for 35 and a TD. Also scored in wk 2. -Kendricks drop kicked his wk 1 in the NFL and is buried for awhile. - Fred Davis was a homerun with 5 for 105.
A bit rusty, but all in all I am very satisfed that one can always go DEEP and discover a GEM!
