Ware done for the season?

Update:

Spencer Ware has been diagnosed with a torn PCL and will likely need season-ending surgery.

Chiefs head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder announced the diagnosis on Sunday. Ware is also dealing with damage to his LCL. He'll get a second opinion, but in all likelihood, Ware will go under the knife. Third-round rookie Kareem Hunt will now proceed as the team's unquestioned workhorse and could finish the year in the RB1 conversation if all goes right.

I wouldn't sell the farm for Hunt just yet.

Spiller has looked pretty darn good and West is no slouch.

Certainly looks like he'll be the first rookie off the boards, though, which is good because that leaves Cook for ME. :D

There was a chance, though slim, that Hunt was going to win the job before the injury. I agree with Tekie in that he should be the first rookie drafted. This kid has looked pretty darn good on the field.

While I agree spiller has looked good, Andy has already said Hunt will be the fill in for Ware. Hunt is a three down back too, so not sure where Spiller or West will find time.

I see Cook and Hunt pretty damn even actually. Both are solid in run game and passing game, both have established Qbs, and both have pretty solid O-lines, and Wrs to take pressure off. In fact both have Tes that are capable as well.

The only reason I might take Hunt over Cook, is Cook's college history of putting the ball on the ground.

After watching Minny vs SF, I'm going all-in on Hunt for 1st rookie off the boards.

Minnesota offensive line continues to be dreadful despite rumors to the opposite. Latavious Murray and Jerick McKinnon are legitimate threats to steal touches and it looks as though Minnesota will be playing from a negative game script most of the season.

Kansas City has a history of great running backs...Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Spencer Ware, and never seem to miss a beat when one of them goes down. They even made Knile Davis look good.

Took Hunt at 3.1 last night in a local 12 man .5 ppr $$$ league.. got a few surprised looks from league mates. Dalvin was already gone, Fournette, Lamar Miller and Mcaffrey went right after my pick. I'm OK with where I got him.
