Hard to find a way to argue with thatHis break down was mental more than anything else. Unless he gets control of his mental state of mind and shrugs off last year , he will be a bust. He'll end up being another Leftwich.
Hard to find a way to argue with that
Does anyone here know what set him off? A close call? A relative? Seriously, does anyone know?
So far as being worth anything. Nah. He's just about out of football now
VY was the Titans offense his first year and was nothing but Roses.I could have sworn they said something or made up some excuse when it happened but i don't remember it. I have never been much of a VY fan, always thought he was overrated. In college he was impressive but Texas is a powerhouse every year, so any QB looks impressive.

VY was the LongHorns and worth every penny they spent.
I don't think you are correct, Cerberus, in your casual dismissal of Young Vincent during his time at Texas. He was amazing. Sorry.
But, yeah, seems like he quit and just wanted to not get hit. Which is why I ask if anyone can pinpoint the cause.
I'm sorry, but no, Cerberus. amazing in college would be most Heisman winners and so few rock in the NFL. Can't see how you could argue with that.On your VY be amazing, wouldn't that mean he would be amazing NFL QB. He isn't and never was. I think he has the skills to be a good QB but his head isn't straight or better yet wasn't last year. I really feel it was the systems he was put into. In college, Texas was amazing not VY. Compare the players he had around him his first year to last year players when he mentally flipped.
his college success is a mute point.
Moot to those not LongHorns. As soon as VY gets his first booooooooooo and some bad press, will have a meltdown again, he's a mental mess at this point in his short lived career, his college success is a mute point.
Mute, :tapeshut:Mute ala moot?
I like it.
Point blank, he could not take being booed. I am not kidding. The pressure was too much, and he broke down to it. In Texas he was the second coming.......so he was never booed.Hard to find a way to argue with that
