Vic Ballard... a good week 10 play on thurs?

Donald Brown (knee) was held out of Tuesday's practice. Brown's knee has been sore since it flared up on Saturday. With a Thursday night game, his status is very much in doubt for Week 10.

When I first saw your thread I wasn't too excited about Ballard. Then later on in the day I saw that blurb of info and it did make Ballard more interesting. We, of course, need to see if Brown practices at all today (Wed.)

I really don't like Greene vs. Sea, as the def. in Seattle has been pretty solid. I would lean Vereen vs. Buf. then Jacquizz

In a surprise an Indy newspaper is predicting this morning tht Brown is likely to play tonight in spite of barely seeing the field Sunday and not practicing any this week.

Should look at this a little closer Phic. Sea started out the first 4/5 weeks #1 against the run, But I believe they have been 1 of the worst in the league against run the last 3/4 weeks.

I have read the same thing, The heroic starter toughing it out and running poorly taking enough snaps to make the backup risky. But he may just be active and dressed out more for emergency purposes than actually usage. I would have used Ballard in a flex league if Brown was inactive

For the record.... start of the second quarter.......... Ballard and Brown with 3 caries a piece, Ballard with twice the yardage... Luck with a rushing TD.
