rotoworld,

Vince Young has focused extra attention this offseason on throwing to his left.

Young completed just 46.6 percent of his passes to the left sideline in 2009 but still had a decent 58.7 mark overall. Over his final eight games of last season, Young averaged 197.7 passing yards, 29.0 rushing yards and 1.2 total touchdowns a game. There's upside here.

I see lots of upside to V. Young if he keeps his head on straight. Whay say yo the experts of the Outlaw Nation? Can Vince become a #1 QB in fantasy football? I vote yes!

not sure I'm going to crown him as a #1 this year, but he's a nice back-up who could end up outperforming your starter due to the pts he can add in the running game.

It's those points he brings you with his feet and the wonders CJ can do with the short passes that I feel he could approach the #1 status. I'm not talking high end number one here for he'll never be a Brees, Brady, or Manning but a serviceable number one that can keep you in games. Of course he could also lose his mind and walk away from the game but hopefully he's grown up now.

rotoworld,

Vince Young is now represented by agent Tom Condon, switching from Major Adams.

The Titans picked up V.Y.'s $4.25M roster bonus in March, and he's set to earn $7.25M in base salary this season before entering a contract year in 2011. If he can match last year's second-half production in 2010, Young will be in line for an extension next offseason.

Like Slabaugh, I don't see him being a #1 fantasy QB for a while. And if he does finally get some receivers, then maybe a low end #1. And that will be a few years down the road.

for V.Y. to be a #1, many things need to happen.

First they need to solidify the O-line. It has been a turnstyle in both play and players lately.
Next, they need more than fill in Wrs. Britt could be good, but grabbing everyone else's hand me downs won't cut it.
Last, better hope Cook is the TE they drafted, as they are looking at another potential hold out at Te now too.

Young needs to be able to trust his tools and line...and those keep changing.
