WASHINGTON -- Congress plans to conduct a hearing next month on two NFL players whose league-mandated suspensions were blocked by a federal appeals court.

Two people with knowledge of the plans told The Associated Press that a House subcommittee will delve into the issue. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because lawmakers have yet to announce the hearing.
