Troubled Bridgewater

Nothing official yet, but Teddy looks like he will be missing some serious time.

Any feel for how this will affect the Minny passing game?

Shaun Hill was once a gunslinger and never scared to throw deep. At 36 and playing on a run first offense will his previous skills even matter?

Joel Stave is a no-name Badgers alumni with great measurables and arm strength but even at the college level, threw more INTs than TDs.

Hate it for Teddy and the Vikes. I was starting to like them again.

Sucks for the Vikings. They were at minimum a playoff team this year. Love all the tools they have added to the passing game, to take load off of AP. Now that will change.

Vikings could still have a very good year. Bridgewater was not going to win games for them, he was a game manager. If Hill can do similar, and AP hold up, they could still make the playoffs.

Bridgewater was a developing, young QB and the Vikings put together a young, talented group of WRs. The passing game was going to be a much bigger part of game this year. Huge loss.

I heard yesterday that his 66.3% completion rate was the highest ever attained by a Qb under 25 years of age. That % might have been higher. Now those throws weren't downfield throws, but this is why Treadwell was looming large in the draft aftermath
