Trade Torain for Felix Jones?

are you proposing this trade? or have you received an offer? It's a close close call Torain is producing but hasn't always been the picture of health. Felix Jones has missed a lot of games due to injury himself, both these guys are a bit of an injury gamble. Portis will be back to make that RBBC for the Redskins complete again but is injury prone himself. With both these backs having an injury history it makes projections very hard and this a close call. I don't know what the rest of roster is like, but generally speaking I would rather have Jones then Torain on my roster. I like them both but they both make me nervous from a durability angle.

Portis could be out for the year, he himself has stated he may have played his last game for the Skins.

It's a very close call but Torain could be the man in DC for the rest of the season and Jones will have to share in Big D.

Ah see, Mud is always right on top of things with the injury info. I knew the Portis news was getting worse as time goes on but this great info by Mud here.

cbssports.com,
On his weekly radio show appearance, Redskins RB Clinton Portis had the following to say regarding his groin injury. "I have no doubt I'll recover from this injury," Portis said. "Hopefully it's in a Redskins uniform." Analysis: Whoa! Portis isn't one to hold back with his words, and this quote has to be very worrying to the Fantasy owners who have the veteran back stashed away while he deals with this groin issue. Continue to follow Portis' progress over the next month or so while he tries to recover in time to have an impact this season, but things certainly aren't looking promising.

There was an ealier report that stated the Skins might put Portis on IR. I think a lot depends on how Torain fairs over the next 4 weeks. The job appears to be his if he's able to hold it.
