Trade for C.Johnson

I was just told that CJ is available for a stud WR + #2 RB. Can I get away with offering A.Johnson and C.Benson for him?

My team:
QB: Flacco, Rothelisberger
WR: A.Johnson, R.Moss, P.Harvin, D.Bowe, D.Amendola, B.Tate
RB: C.Benson, L.McCoy, C.Spiller, K.Moreno
TE: G.Olsen, V.Davis

His Team:
QB:T.Romo, D.McNabb
WR:R.White, R.Williams, J.Jones,M.Crabtree, V.Jackson
RB:C.Johnson, L.T., M.Bush, M.Forte, B.Green-Ellis,R.Torain
TE:T.Moeaki

PPR league + return pts. + standard scoring.
3 WR - 2 RB - 1TE + 1 Flex positions start.
 
I dont think you should do it. With Moss going to Minnesota who knows how that will shake out. You have no WR depth if you get rid of AJ or Moss which are your only 2 guys worth a start every week. Think of it this way AJ, moss, any other WR with c Benson L McCoy will outscore Moss, whichever other 2 WRs you have CJ and McCoy. I wouldnt do it!!

really, you think that is true for every week? My team is sitting in last place and I feel like now is the time to make a big move. can I get some more feedback?

Edit: on the WR WW: Manningham, knox, hester...

AJ and Benson through week 4 88.7 and AJ has been banged up plus week 1 was the arian Foster show.

okay, I understand that point, but I'm not trading him to get his value through the first four weeks. I'm looking to get him for his next 12 weeks...
 
DO ITTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!! CJ is in a diff level for FF and check his matchup for playoffs:
Indy-Hou-KC in week 14-16!!!

Benson sucks for PPR! He has 3 grabs in 4 games!

I will go on the other side against bears fan:
CJ + Tate are ahead of Benson + AJ given the PPR and return yards format.

And you have Spiller who's willing took a huge bump up in return yard leagues now since he might get 5-10 extra touches/week! You have the depth to actually pull this off :koolaid:
 
I agree with mud, start with Moss and Benson.

If AJ is involved, try to include a WR on the back end.

But don't let it slip to AJ. Tell him what a stud Moss is going to be as Farve's deep threat and mention how Farve darn sure isn't scared to throw into double coverage.
 
I may be the only member here that feels this way but in a ppr legue I wouldn't deal away AJ not even for CJ, who I think the world of, unless I got a #1 WR back and he's not going to give up White so you've gotta try to make the Moss angle fly.
 
I just sent him the offer for Moss and Benson, then cancelled it right after... hoping I can get him to think that I thought he is getting too much for CJ. I'll talk to him tomorrow and see what he says. I'm actually would take this in a heartbeat, but am in no rush to do it before this weeks games especially with the ? on McCoy since I would prefer him to slide into the line up with no Moss.
