Trade advice: Romo or Schaub on the block

gruntbusters

hehehe...heheheh..hehe...
The Mendenhall deal fell through. I have a couple of coaches looking to trade, but their talent is thin RB. I've offered either Schaub or Romo for a top tier RB and pick combo...here is what is available:
  • Hightower
  • Addai
  • Maroney
  • Slaton
  • McGahee
  • Darby
  • P Thomas
  • M Forte
  • F Jackson
  • L McCoy
What do you guys think? I'm not seeing any long term talent here that you can build your team around. Maybe P Thomas or McCoy but I don't see either of these guys as a top 5 RB. Thoughts?

your going to want to ask somebody who has actually played football, but reports i am reading and some people i asked said that McCoy injury hurts, but thats it. Like if he can suck up the pain for the rib fracture, he can play normally, and it should be healed in 2-4 weeks anyway?

IF that is true, McCoy is the guy to target for me! If drafting today, he's going in round 2-3. Thats a steal for trading Schuab or Romo.

Addai is the best choice on that list for me... that's not saying much either.

Yeah, all these RB's are in the "southern division" our league. I'm trying to keep talent out of our division, and this is what I have to choose from. *sigh*

Am thinking the same thing Mills...meh. I'm really not excited about building around any of these guys. Maybe if I can nab a guy like Addai (who Mr Brown is tryin hard to replace) and a high draft pick in the 1st round next year I might possibly be able to improve that way.

I just need to remember to NOT trade for the sake of trading...it really needs to improve my team.

I'd take McCoy especially if its a PPR league... although the longer Kolb is in there the more blocking responsibility he has.
