  1. Jason Witten TE Cowboys

  3. Tony Gonzalez TE Falcons
  4. Dallas Clark TE Colts
  5. Chris Cooley TE Redskins
  6. Greg Olson TE Bears
  7. Kellen Winslow TE Bucs
  8. Owen Daniels TE Texans
  9. John Carlson TE Seahawks
  10. Zach Miller TE Oakland
These are the Top 10 TEs Listed in NFL.coms' Top 100 Fantasy Players list.

J.Carlson (627yds 41.8 ypg 5td) should be higher up the list, far better stats than G.Olson (574yds 35.9ypg 5td)
Z.Miller would be the top 5 with more TD. Millers stats are just shy of C.Cooley.
Guess NFL.com went with teams they like over actual stats. So WTF

Carlson probably should be higher up the list. The line of thinking is probably along these lines. Big rookie year, but he was the only healthy target as The Seahawks WR were a real battered bunch. With Housh and other WRs healthy Carlson may not be the main target. Problem with that line of reason is you can also make a case for Carlson being better due to a better/ healthy WR Corps. Less catches with more Yards After Catch and better TD opportunities in the red zone.

Zach Miller could become huge if The Oakland O starts to click more. I had McFaddy last year and didn't play him alot in a league that allowed 3 RBs. It was hard to justify starting him when you often couldn't project
Oakland even scoring two Tds. But I must admit that I really like Zack Miller. When I did see the Raiders play, which wasn't often, I had a very good impression of Zack Miller. He is huge and so is Jamarcus and they look like two lighthouse out on the field. If the Raider O starts to roll this year they could become a huge hookup combo.

Not with Housh there. Sounds like Housh and Hass are dating too!

I think its a stretch to pencil Greg Olsen in as a top 6 TE. Cutler or not that would be a huge leap in #'s for the guy.

He is the best receiver in that offense. I see no reason not to give him a huge upgrade for this season.

Outside of Witten, Gates, Gonzo, and Clark, I think Olsen has a strong chance to be at the top of the next group.

I like Cooley, Keller, Winslow, Shockey, Zach Miller and John Carlson besides the 4 you have to all be better then Olsen.

Those are all the "group 2 guys". Anyone of them could come out on top of that group.

I just like Olsen's situation more than the rest of them.

Cooley looks real nice to repeat as a very productive TE. He would be at the top of my "group 2" guys if it weren't for Olsen.

Winslow would be next, especially if they throw Freeman to the wolves and he needs to rely on his big TE.

Carlson looks to be in a decent situation as well with Hass coming back. I'm unsure of his complete potential though.

As far as Keller and Zach Miller. Yuck. Won't convince me that those 2 are more valuable than Olsen.

Olsen- 54, 574, 5

Zach Miller- 56, 778, 1 Yuck??

Keller- 48, 535, 3 Yuck???

I like these guys situations and as much or more then Olsen's.

why is it so hard to believe greg olsen would be near the top 5? last year he had 55/575/5 with a crapfest at QB. you have to know he's the best receiver in that offense and is now playing for a QB who has shown mad love for his TE most of his career. schefler put up about those same numbers last year playing injured and or only 11 or 12 games. greg olsen is three times the talent scheffler dreams he could ever be, so why shouldnt he be a great sleeper? are you worried about devin hester stealing touches? maybe the ghost of marty booker? come on.

70 catches, 750 yards, 6 TDs. minimum. theres no one on that list below olsen that i'd take before him, and id possibly rather take him than cooley or clark, depending on the ADP as things turn out. very likely that olsen will get hyped into the 6th round and probably overprice himself.

if anyone was close, id say zach miller and owen daniels are definitely it. they would be in a tier of TEs along with olsen, cooley, and clark for me at this point.

Its not hard to believe that it could happen, but it won't. Chicago= Matt Forte= Olsen blocking. Olsen might be a top 10 but not top 5. I'm not saying he isn't a good player but he's not top 5 good.

I just don't like the QB situation for either of those guys. I could be talked into seeing value in Keller, but I will have nothing to do with the Oakland offense.

have you actually seen the bears play much? olsen is a pass catcher. clark does more of the blocking these days.

Bomb is right there, Olsen is not a blocking TE, for one he sucks at it, and two they use Desmond Clark in that role.

I'm not as wild on Olsen as some are, but not as down on him as others here....as in most case, the truth is somewhere in the middle ;)

Guy I won't touch this year is Winslow, especially if Freeman gets the QB job at the start.....

My point is that if Olsen is going to get these great #'s then he will be needed to be on the field for more plays. The Bears are going to run 2 TE sets all year? No. Olsen can't do it all so he won't get the great #'s

I don't really get your point. You're saying that Olsen can't be on the field all the time? Why not?

How often is Chicago going to line up with 3 and 4 wide? And if they did line up in a spread, do you think Olsen wouldn't be split out wide?
