Fantasy Football wasn't on the list. We talked about that a bit.

The top 2 were War between AFL and NFL before the merger, and #2 was television.

Possible options could include

Playoffs - originally best record determination of the champion

Draft - organized the way players were selected. Saved the smaller markets?

De-segregation - had a phase between the 30's-50's where minorities were not included (AFL really opened the floodgates)

Expansion - spread west and incorporated some competitors

Games outside the country - to recent?

Video - how the youth was introduced to football on tv?

Cheerleaders - Should they be included? I can't really gauge their importance since my team still uses local high schools

On the broadcast, I noted 3 additional things that I was a bit surprised didn't make the cut, for various reasons.

-The Rooney Rule which opened the doors for minority coaches such as Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith, amongst others.
-Player Conduct Policy, which has resulted in the suspension of some rather high profiles, regardless if they get a "slap on the wrist" from the judicial system
-Expansion and the desertion of both NFL franchises from the Los Angeles market

Who was the one recommending the Coors can... I think that is what it was - "Playoffs, Playoffs..."

I am not sure if I'm a fan of the Rooney Rule - seems it is creating window dressing without accomplishing anything meaningful.

I had to step away from the computer a few times so I missed chunks of the show.
