Thursday Night Game

I always liked this guy. I thought he was gonna be a star in buffalo but glad to see he is having a good year now.

Anyone start Desean Jackson. Thank Christ Shady was a go. I would have started him otherwise. That guy has some serious attitude issues

Eagles=:puke:

They have quit on Andy. Jackson just wrote his ticket out. What a mess.

Sucked. Totally mind out of game. Sulked on sideline, kept to himself, ignored young after he was trying to talk after INT. He is ready to be gone.

Thank you PhiCin. I found a couple of stories after reading your ealier post that sewed it up much like you just did. The stories said that he didn't talk to any other player on the sidelines. Sad to have so much physical talent yet be so thick between the ears. I think it will be a while before I feel safe starting this clown again.

Coach doesn't see it that way at laa. From rotoworld, Coach Andy Reid vigorously defended DeSean Jackson on Friday, suggesting the troubled receiver "played his heart out" against the Seahawks.
Reid clarified that Jackson's job was to clear out the cornerback and safety on a play where it looked like he hung Vince Young out to dry. Reid was "very, very disappointed" in the way NFL Network portrayed Jackson as aloof, unwilling to talk to teammates, and combative with reporters. Reid insists Jackson was "all in and had a great attitude last night."

well it doesn't really matter what happened on the sidelines mud, d.jax is just playing like ****!!!!!!!

i've loved the dude since he was drafted and i am indifferent now to letting him go. he doesn't deserve a contract

I think the Eagles are facing a major overchange similar to Indy.

First, let me say I am a huge Andy Reid fan. Always have been. Still am today, his ability with an offense will be legendary. He also has done mostly well in personel moves.

But it may just be time for a change. The ONE major flaw I have always had with Andy, is his lack of working the draft to fix the O-line. Last year was the first year in forever he has used a first round pick for O-line, and I think he took the wrong guy. If he could build a real O-line, he would only make Vick and McCoy more dangerous. Vick's risk is he has to run too soon, not really pick his spots. Last year that was not totally the case. When HE can pick how and when he can run....he is a terrible force on the defense. But, due to bad O-line, he has to run too soon, or force passes and leads to turnovers. He also drops the value of the Wrs.

I also think they need to let DeSean go. I am not a huge Cooper fan. But he has performed well, and with Maclin and Smith back next year and hopefully healthy...the Wr core is solid. You can draft a returner, or use the back up Rb.

But the simply have to address the HUGE needs on this team. O-line(specifically at OT), and LB.

I would love to see Fisher in, and his defensive knowledge, and keep Morningweg as OC to keep that consistancy.

i agree that it's time for change, and i've been a consistent reid supporter as well. the juan castillo project was clearly a bust, and reid should be able to admit that. his stubbornness has now turned malignant.

however, i think he'll probably stay for another year, and maybe that will be ok assuming there are big changes in the DC and player personnel (um, a decent LB or safety would be helpful :rolleyes:).

imo the o-line actually seems to be improving of late...
