thoughts on Ronnie Brown vs Tony Gonzo in 4th

12 Team league: 1 QB, 2xRB, 2xWR, TE, 1 Flex
TE: 1 PPR, 1 pt 10 yards, 6 pt TD
RB: 1/2 PPR, 1 pt 10 yards, 6 pt TD

I have pick 4.08 coming up and of course 5.5 (but neither of these will be there then)

I have MJD for my 1st RB and Brown would be my second.
I have no TE yet of course.

TE drops down after the first 4 (witten, gates, gonzo, and clark) so I'm tempted. However, not much is left for RB and Brown is a great pick (is a solid #30 IMO) at 44 (4.08).

Just want to look at any thoughts.

Absolutely Ronnie Brown and it's not close.

Grabbing him there is tremendous value and he has high upside.

2 years removed from ACL surgery, I believe he will be big this season.

The TE position is deep, I wouldn't burn a high pick on a TE when you can get better value later on in the draft with guys like Olsen, Cooley, Daniels...

Witten and Gates are gone.
The next 4 guys to pick have: (edit) and have two picks each before my next pick
1) 2xRB, 1xWR
2) 1xQB, 1xRB, 1xWR
3) 2xRB, 1xWR
4) 1xQB, 1xRB, 1xWR

So Brown won't be there for sure, and chances are Gonzo will be gone too.

Don't understand why this one is up for debate, the way your scoring is setup mixed with the fact that you only have one running back come the 4th round...9 picks later there will still be decent tightends, what kind of value do you honestly think you'll find as a #2 running back in the middle of the 5th?

Take Brown.

I took Brown of course. But with my scoring setup, a Tier 1 TE is worth a good 5 pts more than Tier 2 a game, and I believe that Gonzo is the last of the Tier 1. There are a few RBs left, added to the fact that 2 of the four people picking between me and my next pick already have 2 RBs ... there should be some thought of Brown making it through there or that there will be 2 RBs at the most picked between my two picks.
