KC trades Thigpen to the Dolphins

With Dolphins QB, Chad Pennington out for the season the Dolphins went out and added some depth at QB today in a trade with KC for Tyler Thigpen. Miami will send KC an undisclosed draft pick.

Great move by Miami. Thigpen is a solid back up...and could potentially be a fill in QB if Henne does not pan out.

Thigpen's just an insurance policy in case Henne goes down. White will continue to be the #2 for Wildcat sets. I'm not upset by this move at all, even though it certainly means the Fins won't be drafting Tebow next year.
