The Grass isn't always Greener

You'd think that for $1.2B you could get some decent grass, hell great grass even. Killer stuff! (Why so many stories these days about grass)? Well it ain't so smoke, err sports fans. Ask the folks at the brand new Levi Stadium that the 9ers call home. One and done. One stinking preseason game was all the field could handle. Out with the new and in with the newer. The sod is being replaced there. Oh there's plenty of time since the 9ers don't host a home contest until week 3 but I wonder. I wonder if they gave up on it too soon? You know the kind I'm talking about don't you? Maybe it was some of that creepola grass.

I know in California they are all but outlawing lawns in the interest of water conservation... Perhaps this is also related to water concerns? Like not watering enough, or not frequently? I have no idea... just a thought... Also Soldier Field is notoriously one of the worst in the league grass - wise... Maybe thegame is too fast and violent for grass now?
