Coming at you
If this is the wrong forum, sorry............
I posted this last year, but figured some might benefit from my latest experience today and save a little of your hard earned cash..........
This year, HD is included in the price instead of them going through the charade of charging $99.99 for the package. $299.99 is the advertised price before July 1 and $20.00 more after that. Was on another website where most are stating that DTV wasn't offering any deals and taking the stance that the price is the price. Cancel if you want.
I decided to try it myself and as soon as I said I was going to cancel due to the price, they gave it up faster than a $2.00 whore. $30.00 a month for 6 months, which everyone should know is $120.00 less than the asking price. I thought that was fair so I felt no need to negotiate. I guess you either have to get the right person or give the impression that you are serious about canceling. I found it hard to believe that they would take a hardcore approach and leave money on the table.
Anyway, good luck to those who gotta have the ticket. Because I'm in Northern California, we can get stuck with the Raiders as our only morning or afternoon game if things fall wrong. Just can't take that chance..............:dancingpa
