Texas Longhorns just received a committment from JUCO OT Donald Hawkins. Should be a stud under Stacey Searles, and was nominated for JUCO All American honors. Did not give up a sack in his JUCO Career.
Only noteworthy because I think this is the first JUCO guy Mack Brown has ever offered during his tenure at Texas. Searles and Bo Davis, both formerly of Georgia and Alabama respectively, have strong ties to the JUCO scene and this may have factored into it.
