Texans release Ryan Moats

(RotoWire) Moats has been released by the Texans, reports the Houston Chronicle. Analysis: Moats had two starts and scored four touchdowns in 2009, but the Texans have a crowded backfield and Moats was pushed down to the bottom of the depth chart. He will have plenty of time to catch on with another team before the season.
 
I hate it for the kid that went to college just down the road but the good news for him is that his release came early as n0rm stated.
