Tebow to Denver

I'd pay damn good money to see Josh McDaniels' ego vs. Lane Kiffin's ego in a PPV celebrity death match.

Ever see the Bronson movie, Telefon?

Yeah, I think Belichek hypnotized McDaniels years ago, and periodically calls him up to "activate" him, and use him to sabotage the Broncos.

and giving up all those picks when he could have gotten him in the second anyway.

I was thinking the watch from Naked Gun. ''I must ruin.......the Broncos''

Not a bad landing spot from a Tebow perspective. To go in the first round also is nice from a Tebow perspective.

WTF? Orton, traded for Quinn, now Tebow???? I dont get it at all!!!!!
That was where i was at as well.

However, having thought about it.......

First this tells me they now KNOW that Orton is not the answer. He will be a one year stop gap. To my knowledge he still has not signed his RFA contract though.

Second, this tells me they are not sold on Quinn yet either. But I also think this means they have more faith then some of us. Because Tebow won't be ready this year, and not even next. So you have to have a stop gap...and that may be Quinn. I think his contract is over next year though. Not sure.

First I agree that a first round pick for Tebow was a waste. They could easily have traded down again to the 2nd round and gotten him. Even if he does pan out...it won't be for a few years..and that screams bust.

There's something in the air out in Denver.

That was on 4/20....but on to Tebow. Local reaction was, "WTF?!?!?" but after a night to sleep on it there is a growing population of fans that thinks this might be genius. Orton is gone sooner rather than later and Quinn will take orders on the field until Tebow is ready. While he's learning Tebow is now the ultimate 3rd down quarterback which is something the Broncos sucked donkey nuts at last season. So until he's ready for prime time Doogie has a new toy to play with on offense.

Looks like its going to be K.Orton for the next couple of seasons while Teblow is groomed into a NFL QB

McDaniels wont be around in Denver very long at this rate

Quinn could still develop into an NFL QB. He's only 3 NFL years old, has battled injury and played for a hideous franchise.

He's got good size for a QB and decent arm strength.

The reshuffle going on in Denver could be just what he needs to develop.

He might be worth a late round flier as a #2 qb this year. We'll see how preseason goes.

I actually think Tebow is being underrated here, and feel this is a good pick for the Broncos. They have no QB, and this guy has the potential to be a star. I might end up being very wrong here but I think his talents will be much more valuable at the NFL level than they were at the college level.

Tebow might become a decent QB in the NFL in the future, i dont think he was worth the 1st round pick that could of been used a little more wisely, then again McDaniels has turned a pretty good team two seasons ago into a straight up mess.

:wtf: What you smoking Mike????

Yep, Tebow could be a great NFL qb. When this happens ---->:pigsfly:

Actually, he could. You gotta love a guy who knows how to win. That being said though...he will need time to learn....he is no where near ready.
