Talk Assistant coaches

Got to thinking about this yesterday. Thinking of who would be just down right great QB coaches. Thinking about this because of the QB issues here and the firing of the WR coach yesterday. Don't think many of who i am thinking would consider it but think they would be great at it.

Top of my list is Archie Manning. Seriously, Not only was he a starter himself but of his 3 sons 2 are starting QBs in the NFL and one of them will go down in the books as one of the greatest ever. Sorry Eli i'm not talking about you. Now he's probably too old now but what if?

Ok how about(and i gasp to say the name) Brett Favre? Sure he douchebaged his last few years but still can't argue his passion for the game and knowledge at the position. Only problem with him i see is he'd be busy doing his wrangler promotions during the game. LOL.

Speaking of the Mannings, I really hope Peyton never plays again. He's a legend and would hate to see him get hit and have to spend the rest of his life in a wheel chair being tube feed. Think he should go into the booth broadcasting or even as an assistant coach.

I taked to Archie once about coaching. He told me that the people of Louisiana really cared about him and that he really appreciated that and wanted to keep it that way. He told me he'd never coach because people that love you often turn around and hate you if your teams aren't what they expect.

Brett would make a fine coach, I think.

Peyton has been mentioned as a HC possibility for Ole Miss. I have my doubts as to how serious the talk is/was.
