Sunday Ticket FYI

I have had the Sunday ticket for the last three years and have gotten various discounts from free HD (superfan) to $50.00 off and free HD. I decided to give them a call this morning and see how aggressive they would get. When I told the guy I wanted to cancel my Sunday Ticket, with zero fight, he gave me half price on the ticket and free superfan, so basically $125.00 for the whole season. Since that was so easy, I decided to ask for free HBO. He told me that he couldn't do that because of their contract with HBO, but he did give me three free months of Showtime.

Just a heads up for you Sunday ticket subscribers.............

I signed up early last year, and ended up getting pissed off because the additional superfan HD package ended up getting included for free, and they wouldn't credit me the price I had already paid.

good deal E, they seem to give out Showtime for 3 months for about anything......prob is showtime pretty much sucks anymore, but hey, for free it's something.

Agree about Showtime. I was very surprised how easy they rolled over on the Sunday Ticket. In 2007, they actually called my bluff and canceled my Sunday ticket. Then about a week before the season started, they called and offered free HD and $60.00 off. Good thing they called because I was ready to blink and call them...........

they are hurting on the pay subscriptions I would think.

I would consider getting it, but 25% of the Sunday's I am at a game and I get all of the Cincy games.....it's nice, but I can live without it.

Me too. I get the Niner games and generally watch them unless it gets really ugly. However, the "other" game is always Oakland because they are a "local" team too, so unless I get the ticket, I'm pretty much forced to watch the Raiders or nothing at all.

The ticket is an absolute must for me.............

Last year I was only able to bluff my way out of $50. On my last bill they auto-renewed my Sunday ticket although I had told them just two months ago not to do that. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be calling next week to try and get them down a bit. I've had the ticket for several years but have never experienced the super fan package. Is that worth getting?

Superfan gives you the games in HD, which I really like to have because I record as many games as possible so I can be sure to watch them all, and HD allows me to see more about what is going on.

I decided to give this a try this morning and sure enough...walked away with The Ticket for half price. I highly recommend this strategy for current Ticket subscribers.
